How does Radial work?
Radial is a media company. Advertisers pay to place their messages on a fleet of regular commuter vehicles within a certain market.

What's a commuter vehicle?
A commuter vehicle is one that is used daily to commute to/from work. A car, truck, minivan, or SUV all qualify to be part of Radial. The more you drive the better you qualify.

What if I drive a ’57 Chevy?
Of course, our goal is to make the best impression. To qualify as a Radial partner, vehicles must never have been damaged and must be late-model, that is, no older than five years. There are of course exceptions to this rule. Exceptionally well-maintained vehicles, classic or specialty cars are always welcomed! If you own a bus or truck, that’s cool, too. Give us a holler.

My vehicle was damaged but has been restored with body work. Does it qualify?
Unfortunately not. The vinyl wrapping installed on the vehicle will not damage original paint jobs, but has been found to pull off after-market paint. Therefore, we can only take those vehicles with original paint jobs.

Will the vinyl wrapping damage my vehicle?
No, it won’t damage your vehicle. In fact, the vinyl helps protect your vehicle from the sun’s UV rays. At the end of the advertising campaign, the wrap is fully-removable and your car is back to the way it looked pre-wrap.

How is the wrap installed?
You can’t do it yourself – it’s an inpatient procedure and typically takes 2-3 days to install. The design is printed onto large sheets of adhesive vinyl and applied to the vehicle. The wrap then has to cure. Drivers are given a rental car allowance for this period of time.
How easy is it to remove the wrap?
You can’t do it yourself but it’s a relatively quick outpatient procedure. It takes just a few hours.

Do drivers drive wherever they want?
Yes, drivers continue to do the same driving that they always do. Daily consistency is a good thing, particularly if drivers commute high mileage. In the evenings or on weekends, drivers are encouraged to get out and about in the community. Go do errands, grocery shopping, day-trips, and sporting events. The idea is to get lots of people seeing your vehicle, and our advertising.

What if I'm stopped somewhere and someone asks me for more info about the advertised product or service on my vehicle?
Part of our advertising includes providing drivers with pamphlets or handouts for the advertiser. Drivers should always keep these handy and hand them out with enthusiasm. After all, we work toward the very best impressions.

What if my wrapped vehicle is needed for a special event
for the advertiser?
From time to time, we may ask you if you’d like to bring your vehicle to a local event featuring the advertiser. It’s not a requirement for you to come, but if you choose to come, we pay you in addition to your monthly driver compensation.
Will the advertiser or Radial photograph my vehicle?
Yes. After the wrap is installed, Radial will photograph the vehicle for the advertiser. In addition, Radial may use the photographs of the vehicle for promotional purposes in print, electronic, or various other media. Don't worry, license plates will not be shown.

Will my vehicle have a GPS fleet unit installed in it?
For some campaigns, we install a GPS unit to track campaign return on investment (or ROI). The GPS unit is hard-wired in the vehicle in an inconspicuous location. Drivers are paid extra for this service.
How do drivers get paid?
Each month, we inspect the condition of vehicles, odometer reading, and wraps. At that time, drivers get a check for the four-week period prior.
How long will my car be wrapped?
Typically, our campaigns last from six months to a year, sometimes longer.
